WAITING FOR SMITH

After breaking his back out in the French Alps during avalanche training, Harry Lloyd aka Waiting For Smith spent a year in bed recovering. Surrounded with interesting books, positive films and great music, he learnt to play guitar. What could have been a disaster gave him the opportunity and time to realise that song writing was his passion and what he really wanted to do. He wrote hundreds of songs during the period, one of them being Long Life. It was an attempt to stay optimistic through such a long period of self-reflection, and has since become his philosophy for living.
