Born in Rotherham in South Yorkshire, Lauren found her way through her teenage years with pen in hand, recording her thoughts and emotions. At the time, she didn’t realize she was sculpting herself into a prolific songwriter, deeply influenced by artists like Janis Joplin, Eva Cassidy, and Lauryn Hill.
Lauren made the migration from her hometown to live in Manchester, completely immersing herself in the music scene. It follows naturally that she would make herself comfortable in Nashville from time to time as well, where music is literally on every street corner.
