Sarah Peacock

SARAH PEACOCK

On a four-month tour of the west coast, Sarah Peacock’s tour bus burned and she lost nearly everything.

After the tragedy, she received an avalanche of support from her fans, and this was when she realized she could make it a point to use her voice and her music to advocate for social and cultural change, because she knew people were listening.

Growing up outside of Atlanta, she cut her teeth in high school stage musicals, and in church as part of the band and choir. Forbidden from listening to or playing secular music, it took a while for her to discover her connection to some of the bona fide legends of rock and country. She draws influence from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Linda Ronstadt, and iconic country artists Dolly and Reba

Arriving in Nashville to study commercial music at Belmont University, her rootsy, acoustic style, paired with her impressively vocal range gained her immediate praise.

Her music has reached the UK and Europe, where she toured with Michelle Malone and later played 30A Songwriters’ Festival with other artists -Jason Isbell, Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile, and Shawn Mullins. More recently, she performed on Melissa Ethridge’s famed musical cruise.

Look out for Sarah’s Live eP debut coming soon.
