Kevin Michael Duggan

KEVIN MICHAEL DUGGAN

Since his early teens, New England native Kevin Michael Duggan has been carefully honing his craft as a performing songwriter, from the basement of his home in Madison, Connecticut all the way to the Rhine River in Germany.  Over the past 16 years, he has amassed vast experience in playing and writing every style from punk to country music, exercising a powerful and emotive voice over his original interpretations of each genre which has influenced him.

After leaving the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and utilizing his father's Irish citizenship, Kevin spent 8 years living in Oxford, England playing in the popular Americana outfits Empty White Circles and Loud Mountains alongside his brother Sean.  There, he swam through the highs and lows of the rock & roll lifestyle and music industry, and cut his teeth on heavy touring in the US, UK, and most of Europe.

In the summer of 2019, on a whim, Duggan packed up the contents of his shabby British flat and three weeks later landed in Nashville, which he now calls home.  In his writing he tells stories of despondency, vagabond adventures, and intense late nights;  bridging the gap between his lyrically honest punk/alternative roots and his love of folk and country, Kevin generates a musical blend that would move just about any mountain from the Smokies all the way to the Alps.  Kevin's debut solo album is currently in medias res.
